I was once told by a mother of 6 children that one of the greatest things she owns (now that all the children have grown and gone) is her family portrait that hangs on wall. She said it sends a message everyday, “till we see you again mom". How wonderful a portrait can make us feel.
After I lost my second child in this journey of life, I’m finding that I cherish ever picture and every portrait that I have of them, and all of us together. It’s funny how an image of someone or something you love so much can make you feel so incredibly blessed... Not to mention help you remember the way they were at that one moment in time…
